Product Description Ideal for coffee or tea for your morning commutes or a chilly beverage to quench your thirst in the afternoon, Sigg's Metro Mug will keep your drink at just the right temperature. This double-walled vacuum insulated mug offers an aluminum body and a leak-proof design.
Sigg bottles are virtually unbreakable and are constructed with no seams, ensuring a long-lasting, leak-proof performance. They also feature Sigg's proprietary baked-on inner liner, which is made from a non-toxic, water-based epoxy resin that exceeds FDA requirements for leaching (0.0 percent) and is independently tested to be taste- and scent-neutral. Every Sigg bottle is 100 percent recyclable at the end of its life, and is backed by a lifetime warranty. About Sigg It all started with a simple hiker's bottle. Today, the Sigg bottle has acquired cult status. What happened is a success story that started in Biel, Switzerland in 1908. Küng, Sigg & Cie. manufactured leisure goods, kitchenware, and electrical appliances. The company relocated to Frauenfeld in 1916, where it helped pioneer the legendary tradition of Swiss quality. Since 1998, SIGG has concentrated on its core business: drinking bottles that deliver ultimate customer benefit.

Good Thermal for Hot/Cold October 15, 2008 Consumer (Brooklyn, NY, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I based my purchase on the design and this Sigg is pretty nice. Especially since a lot of water bottles are really awkward and ugly. It works fine, keeping hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold from morning until mid-afternoon. It doesn't hold much, but if you plan on just drinking a normal cup of coffee then this is for you. The cons are that the aluminum scratches up and unfortunately it only comes in pink or blue.
Sigg Metro Mug- Awesome!! November 27, 2007 Linnea Westenberg (Mahopac, New York) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is truly the sleekest, coolest and best thermal mug I have ever used. It doesn't have an opening to drink from like most thermos type travel mugs (which I have tried and still manage to occasionally burn myself anyway), but its vacuum sealed so you can toss it in your back pack or purse and not worry about leaking all over the place. Its slimmer than standard mugs which makes it more comfortable to handle.
I prefer the 8.5 oz, which holds one cup of tea or coffee (hot or cold).
It keeps hot drinks hot for 6 hours and cold drinks cold for 10!
It has a secret compartment in the lid that screws off and will hold
a few vitamins or medications, or loose change (other than that I see no purpose to that part). My 10 year old daughter loves hers too.
I get compliments from everyone who sees it and wants to know where to order it from. I gave about 2 dozen as gifts. They are a truly fabulous find!
i love this mug--the perfect size December 2, 2006 alicedaer (Tempe, Arizona, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This mug is a perfect choice for a small cup of coffee. It's not big, which for Americans might be a negative, but this American loves the fact that it fits so nicely in the bottle holder of her bag!
I've been looking for a long time for a thermos to carry the amount of coffee I can drink on my way to work in the morning. It holds just enough coffee to get you through a long meeting, but no more. There's no spilling out extra, too-cold coffee you didn't finish. This mug fits nicely in your hands (like a slim, small water bottle) and easily slips in most commuter bags' pockets for water bottles. Plus the blue and pink colors are so nice and much prettier than the standard aluminum.
Drawback: don't drop it. It will dent. Mine doesn't sit so well on a table and kinda wobbles a bit, but I like holding it in my hands so much that I don't mind. Also, there's no cup on top and the open mouth isn't perfect if you're a frequent spiller. But again, its small, slim size ensures that you hold it while you drink it, which is kinda nice on cold days.
Plus I've never been so complimented on my choice of cool coffee mugs! Smart design.
