Ultimate Water Bottle!! February 5, 2010 Linda Buckenberger (Rockland County, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
What can I say? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these bottles! I researched bottles for a long time and finally decided on the Pure Hydration 25oz bottle. I got 4-one for each member of the family. It was important to me that the bottles not sweat or leak and these bottles don't sweat or leak! The fact that I don't need to use ice to keep the water cold is an added bonus! My 4th grader carries it around in her backpack and keeps it on her desk in school. The old bottle she had left a puddle of water on her desk because it sweat so bad and a few times when her backpack was on its side it leaked all over her books. The other day after school she came home with the Pure Hydration bottle and said, "I love this bottle! I want to do a commercial to let everyone know how great it is!". Look for it on YouTube....
Thank you for creating such a wonderful product. My family can save money and the environment without sacrificing convenience and ease of use. I have recommended your product to several people and will continue to do so.

I actually bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it! I love it too... I tend to steal it from him. It definitely keeps drinks cold, but you can't even feel the temperature from the outside, one time he had water in there for about 24 hours, and it was still pretty much as cold as it was when he filled it. It can actually be quite deceptive since the temperature of the drink is nothing like what the bottle feels like, so watch out with hot drinks or if you have sensitive teeth. He hasn't tried it on hot liquids yet but I bought this because it was the only water bottle that mentioned keeping hot things hot, and based on how well it's worked with cold liquids, I'm sure it will work very well. There's no odd smelling chemicals or after taste of anything, it's the PERFECT insulated water bottle. The little handle is sturdy too, which makes it easy to carry or attach to things.
Just as good as a Thinksport! April 20, 2010 sweetnessincuse (Syracuse, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I spent about a month looking into good, healthy, easy-to-clean, stainless steel water bottles. My original purpose was to bring water/juice to work, but after being invited to a wedding on the US Virgin Islands, I modified my search to only insulated stainless steel water bottles. While you'd think that the market is small, with few distributors, I found more choices than I had anticipated. I ended up buying three different bottles -- the Thinksport (750ml), PureHydration (750ml), and CamelBak (500ml). So I can provide my feedback on all three since I took all of them on my trip and tried them all out. After purchasing them a month ago, I am still using them daily to lug beverages to work. Stainless steel is awesome and I don't have to worry about my drinks getting warm after sitting in my bag, on my desk, or in my car all day!
Thinksport: The body is slightly larger than the other two. Neither 750ml bottle will fit into a standard car cup holder. I've read that the smaller sizes may, though. I didn't see this as a problem for me, though. I think that because the bottle is slightly larger (probably more air insulation), the Thinksport kept my beverages the coldest. After a day on the beach (warmer than 90oF), in the sun, after more than 12hrs my water was still ice cold! I did not fill the container with ice beforehand, but I did include about 30% from the start of the day. This (to me) is amazing!
PureHydration: The main pro that I found with this bottle was that it came with two different strainers. While the Thinksport came with only the "tea strainer" (i.e. mesh), the PureHydration came with a "tea strainer" and "ice strainer." The difference: thin mesh vs. thicker strainer. The tea strainer works fine with ice, too. I haven't actually made tea (or any hot beverages) in any of the bottles, but it's nice to know that I can. And I certainly will try it out next fall (and update this review)! Personally, I do not think that PureHydration is worth the extra cost since it is so similar to Thinksport (which costs half the price and has free shipping).
CamelBak: This one is a little bit different from the two others. I like it. I like that there is a straw and I like that it seems very durable. The bottle itself is actually very durable! I got into an ATV accident with the bottle strapped to the front. After rolling twice through brush/small trees, the bottle was not harmed (a little scratched). I had read a review earlier that the stainless steel bottles can crack when they are dropped, and this is clearly not the case with the CamelBak! I should also say that I've dropped the other two bottles on wood and ceramic floors without damaging the floors or bottles. I didn't do it on purpose -- I'm just a little clumsy. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend since it is convenient to have the straw feature, and it slips nicely into backpacks.
Hot or Cold and always Good Looking January 30, 2010 Kenneth T. Saurman (Hobe Sound, FL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Hey, when my sister sent me a Pure-Hydration Bottle as a Christmas gift, I was amazingly impressed with it. Because of its double-walled stainless steel design it keeps cold liquids cold - and it keeps hot liquids hot, better than other similar products on the market. The way it is constructed also means that it doesn't have to be handled as if it were a carton of eggs like those products with glass bottles inside. You know what I'm talking about. If the glass liner breaks the bottle is worthless! Well -- This baby is ALL STEEL!
Another benefit of it's superior construction is that unlike other products, when I fill it with ice cubes and my cold beverage of choice, the outside surface of the bottle doesn't become covered with condensation. These bottle don't 'sweat' like so many others do. And because they come with two different snap-on filters for the neck of the bottle, you can drink from the bottle and not get an ice cube surprise. Then when I pour boiling water from my tea kettle into it, I don't burn my hands picking up the bottle because again, the insulation factor with these bottle is so great!
Oh, and because everyone knows that SIZE DOES MATTER, they come in 3 different sizes. One is perfect for the school lunch box. The middle size is ideal for taking to the gym and it fits in most beverage holds in cars. The BIG ONE holds a full 750ml (the equivalent of a whole bottle of wine).
The color options are also good. Great choices. I've already purchased 6 of these and see myself buying more soon.
Great water bottle August 27, 2010 Marcos S (CA USA) I've only had it for about a week, but I can safely say that it's been working as advertised. The temperature of a cold liquid inside isn't the same at the end of a long day, but it's definitely not warm; it stays a bit cooler than lukewarm.
Bottle does not sweat.
Does not feel cheap or flimsy.
Make sure you receive 2 screens that go inside the bottle at the neck. Both are stainless steel. One is for ice cubes(long openings that curve around) and the other is for tea (looks like a steel net).
I can't say whether there is a metal taste because I'm not that sensitive. If it did have a metal taste, I wouldn't bother me. I do not notice any thing abnormal as far as taste is concerned, and I drink a lot of water.
Will review again IF I find that the bottle deteriorates in performance/quality in a year.
